today is the seven year anniversary of your waitress!

say what? seven? i know. it boggles my mind too.

in honor of the occasion i offer you seven images all
found at the oakland art murmur this past friday.
the images are from farley’s east, era, hatch, on
23rd street, and mercury 20 respectively.

i have been feeling nostalgic these past few months
as i prepare to move back to kansas city, missouri
in late june to start a new chapter of my life.
yw will continue on after the move and i cannot
wait to explore a new canvas dear to my heart.
it is a tad frightening to leave a place i love so much,
but know i have a wonderful new home with friends
and family waiting when i get there.

in the spirit of the past meeting the present, i have
re-added 117 older posts from the early yw days.
a few holes remain, i.e. the chicago trip, and will
be added when i am resettled in my new home.

on sunday june 5. 

thank you again to everyone who visits yw and to
my fellow artistic types out there just trying to find
the path to creativity and sanity through passion.
