your waitress began six years ago today.
wow! six years?? yay! has it really been that long?

the past year has been one of the best for
me, in a photographical ‘another’ sense.
i’ve been able to do another show, find another
outlet for my work at a gallery (hmm, need to get
some stuff over there), share another side,
be published in another book, and more.

this next year i plan to do what i always do:
shoot often.

i have never known where this journey will lead
but that is part of the fun.

to kick off a new year right, this image is the first
in a new series i am doing around a sign in oakland.
i’ll talk more about that as it unfolds.
