yes, people are crazy. if you understand that in the beginning, you will be a great waiter/waitress! of course, that applies especially to people in the restaurant business. i do love my job. i enjoy taking care of people. i love learning about different cuisines, wines, liquors, napkin folds, etc. the best part about waiting tables is that each shift is a new beginning. you get to start with a clean slate and rarely have to take your work home with you. a bad shift can be erased by a good talk with your coworkers over a cold beer at the end of it.
